Life Lessons: Servitude 3/19/2017

Service is never really about the PEOPLE, it begins and ends with YOURSELF.

SELF, the key essential role for servitude, the most influential thing, the most driving motive, the most corruptive thought and most confusing idea..

Essential, it is only when YOU realise that that no one is an island that YOU will truly realise that the PEOPLE around YOU are valuable. It is when YOU realise YOU cannot live on YOUR own that YOU start noticing other PEOPLE. It is when YOU start to get hungry, when YOU start to get confused that YOU start looking for others to help YOU. And it is the realisation that PEOPLE will not help YOU if YOU do not help THEM too that pushes YOU to do YOUR own part. It is never about THEM, it is always about YOURSELF.

Which brings the second point.

Influential, YOU cannot give what YOU do not have. On the other hand, YOU can only give what YOU have. It is when YOU realise that it is YOU who can do something, whatever it may be, that YOU eagerly begin to claim it as YOUR own. When YOU make a statement that this is who YOU are and this is what YOU can do, YOU open a two-way door of YOU helping PEOPLE and PEOPLE helping YOU.

Which opens the third point.

The sudden urge, this is when YOU pick up YOUR sword and raise YOUR shield to protect YOUR brother beside YOU, when YOU stab the cold earth to feed YOUR family behind YOU, when YOU inquire about limitless questions to ensure YOUR future and the generations ahead of YOU. SELF is the most driving, urging motive, for be honest, YOU will never really care about it unless it involves YOU and YOUR possessions.

So never tell a PERSON that the entire world does not revolve around THEM because THEIRS do, and so is YOUR world revolving around YOU and only YOU. This is something no one can ever take away from YOU, yet the genuine beauty of such thought has corrupted so many.

Which gives way to the second to the last point.

Motives, may it be an ideology, a starving country, thirst for power, or selfish gain, led to events that stapled names in history. PEOPLE proclaimed to be evil had motives that were genuine and valuable to THEMSELVES.Sometimes it goes to the extremes as to push PEOPLE to what they believe in, slaughter came in and others. Sometimes what THEY just valued something more than anything else. This is not evil, this is corruption, confusion. THEIR minds are tainted with the truth that THEIR world is THEIR own, and YOUR world is YOURS, that every MAN is for HIMSELF, true, but not quite. THEY become too confused THEY begin to be dismissive of the fact that there are other worlds around THEM. This is not evil, because evil is a choice not a definition. “Bad guys” with no real motives, THEY don’t exist, except in some tales. But these PEOPLE called evil were just confused about THEMSELVES.

Which brings the final stand.

All are confused. There is no such thing as evil, just less confused, confused and very confused, confused yet? The point is although it is every MAN for HIMSELF, it is every MAN for HIMSELF and that includes everything HE is and everything HE owns. Okay, that doesn’t help, the real point is that SELF is always one of the most complicated topics to ever be encountered in consciousness, it is “an eternal turmoil”, “a question with no answer” and “an answer to no question”.

If YOU haven’t noticed, there is much emphasis given for the words, PEOPLE, SELF, YOURSELF, HIMSELF, HE, THEY, THEM, THEMSELF, YOUR, YOU and MAN in this excerpt.It is because those words basically are one and the same thing. PEOPLE, plural of PERSON, YOU. THEY, THEM, plural of HIMSELF, HERSELF, SELF. HE, SHE, WE represent the PEOPLE, each of US. It is our INDIVIDUAL SELVES that strive to do good work for other PEOPLE to benefit OURSELVES.

It sound odd, that WE ARE ALL SELFISH, but it is rather true, WE can only truly serve others if in turn WE can serve OURSELVES. It is the greater understanding of that idea which leads to greatness. As the ancients spoke,

“KNOW THYSELF”, it is when WE learn to accept the wholeness and the entirety of OURSELVES that WE can truly be better, do greater, reacher higher TOGETHER.

In this instance I am no leader, I’ve failed so many and has done so little, this except is an evidence of such. However, it is also in this instance that I begin to acknowledge who I truly am, what I stand for, what I believe in, and what I love.

There are a few people that I’ve personally heard who are facing a similar path, namely Niccolo, Jaya, and Nestlen. On the path of self discovery and development. On the quest of ensuring a brighter future for all of US. By teaching, by guidance, by leadership, and by many things I can barely even imagine. I take great inspiration from these people and many other people. It is through these kinds of people that I see a better future, by them I see leaders and guardians. I honestly wish to join their ranks, and I wish you wish the same.

And to end this hell of a mess, I leave you with one thought in mind.

Servitude is not about serving the PEOPLE, it is truly about serving YOUR PEOPLE.
